Volunteer Testimonial

Beth Kimball

Echuca’s Beth Kimball gains a lot of satisfaction from volunteering for Community Living & Respite Services (CLRS).  Initially joining the fundraising committee, Beth has raised awareness of CLRS in the community, resulting in support from sponsors and the community.  “The local community has been so supportive. Many locals don’t realise how many people CLRS helps and families it supports, through day to day respite or shared supported accommodation,” she said. Approximately 80 businesses now provide general or major sponsorship or donations to help CLRS support its 300 clients. “The money we raise helps us to keep the very high standard that CLRS provides and helps us to grow the service,” Beth said.  In 2016 Beth was appointed an Opening Doors Project Ambassador.  Beth now volunteers at the Murray River Tea Rooms.

“We are always interested to see if we can attract more involvement on a corporate level.
Additional major supporters would be wonderful.”    Beth Kimball
