Opening Doors

Community Living & Respite Services Inc. has purchased land in Eyre Street Echuca for our innovative Opening Doors Project.

The Opening Doors Project will provide a mix of accommodation catering for people who require assistance 24 hours a day or those who can use assistive technology to live a more independent life. CLRS will utilise the learnings from the Minor Street Project resulting in innovative housing  options for people with significant disability. Our hope is that the Opening Doors Project inspires other communities to adopt these solutions to create new opportunities for people with disability. Our organisation is grateful for the strong support of our corporate and community partners who have enabled us to grow and provide invaluable services for people with disability, carers and the aged.

This past year our Opening Doors Ambassadors have worked very hard to raise the awareness of CLRS and our Opening Doors Project.  We are delighted to share a video showcasing their passion and commitment, as part of the Community Philanthropy and Partnerships Week Celebration.

We invite you to again support us in developing the Opening Doors Project which will provide enduring benefit to our clients, their families, suppliers and contractors and our community.
