CLUB TEEN - Before & After School Care Vacancies!
There are currently vacancies in our Before School Program (7am - 9am) and After School Program (3.15pm - 6pm). To register your child, please contact Sue Portelli on 5480 2388. The program is registered for Child Care Benefit. The program is provided at the Echuca Specialist School. Pick-up can be arranged from other local Echuca/Moama schools.
Other News
Recently the CLRS Administration Staff moved to a larger office space at 26A Percy Street Echuca. (formerly the Centrelink building). The move had a smooth transition thanks to everyone's patience and cooperation. CLRS is happy to begin the new decade of 2010 (our 4th!) in our new home. All other contact details remain the same.
Community Living and respite Services inc was successful with a tender to DHS to provide the services of an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Case Consultant Practitioner to the Loddon Mallee region. Linke Smedts-Kreskas has been appointed to this role. Linke will primarily providing secondary consultation to Case Managers across the region. A new website is being developed along side this project with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder opportnities in the Loddon Mallee region. Please visit www.clrsasd.org.au for more information.
Community Living & Respite Services Inc. will be managing a new home in Mitchell Street Echuca, mid 2010. This house is being built, as part of the Government's Older Carers Inititiative, and will support 5 people on an ongong full time basis. Congratulations to all who contributed to the submission process.
Community Living & Respite Services Inc. has begun (2009) facilitating the Autism Spectrum Disorder Playgroup called "PlayConnect". This carer respite group begun in Term 4 of 2009 and is open to carer of children with disabilities. Suellen Betts will be facilitating this group on Friday during school terms. You may wish to become a member of Community Living & Respite Services Inc. To do this you may request a membership form. There is a $5 joining fee and a $5 annual subscription. This enables you to vote at our Annual General meeting and is a requirement if you wish to become a member of the Board of Management. We encourage our service users, families and staff to become a member. Community members are also encouraged - show your support of CLRS and request a membership form today!!
